HOTEL FAQ:

What proactive measures are you taking against COVID-19?
  • Cloth face coverings or masks are NOT required at this time.
  • Social distancing is practiced. Please assist us in maintaining 6 ft. in distance between your group and our team members.
  • Hand Sanitizer is provided in the lobby along with anti-bacterial soap in the restrooms.

  • Guests are encouraged to wash hands or utilize hand sanitizer prior to entering the game room.

Is this an actual Hotel?

While we refer to our establishment as a hotel in many places on our website, we are not an actual hotel. We are an escape room game with a hotel theme.

What is Homicide Hotel?

Homicide Hotel is Colorado’s premium escape room experience. It was inspired by H.H. Holmes – America’s First Serial Killer, American Horror Story’s Hotel, Stephen King’s 1408, The Shining, a little Norman Bates and our own twisted imaginations.

The Homicide Hotel currently has 2 different chapters; Chapter 1 – Room 303 and Chapter 2 – The Dark Heart of the Hotel.  Chapter 1 introduces you to Robert Quinlan and the room where he checked most of his victims into. Chapter 2 continues the story line and takes you deeper into the hotel where Robert spends most of his time. Each new room that we open will take place in different parts of the hotel but will  continue the overall story that will eventually come to a horrifying conclusion.

Is there a certain order guests should stay in the rooms?

The chapters can be experienced in any order. There is nothing you need to know from one chapter to solve another chapter. We will give you a brief summary of the previous chapters for continuity purposes.

What are the Hotels hours of operation?

Click here for our current operating hours.

When will new rooms become available?

We are working hard to bring you Chapter 3 as soon as possible. Making these games is similar to making a movie and there is a lot that goes into the story, set design, puzzle flow, and special effects. It takes time to ensure every chapter meets the high standards our customers demand.

Is this like a haunted house?

No it is not. Homicide Hotel is an immersive escape experience that has a dark theme and is intended to be creepy by design. However, it is more like an interactive game. There are objectives that you and your team will need to complete by finding clues, solving puzzles and interacting with the environment in order to progress through the story and escape. There are not any intentional jump scares or actors in our rooms.

We take great pride in the fact that we have created a world that is creepy enough to satisfy most horror fans and yet is not so scary as to prevent those that are not fans of the horror genre from enjoying the experience.

What makes us unique?

303 Escape’s Homicide Hotel is one of the most immersive escape room experiences in the Denver Metro area and Colorado. Great attention to detail is our trademark along with intriguing, unique puzzles that always feel like they pull you deeper into the story.

Movie quality set design starts at the lobby and continues through every room.

We will not only immerse you into the story but we will stimulate your senses, get your adrenaline pumping and leave a lasting impression that will keep you coming back for more.

ROOMS FAQ:

Will we be paired with strangers?

We believe it is difficult to fully immerse you into the Homicide Hotel world when you are thrust into a room with strangers. Therefore, all experiences at the Homicide Hotel are ALWAYS private. You will never be placed with another group of guests.

How many people can stay in a room?

Our rooms accommodate 2-8 guests. We believe that having more than 8 guests in a room can slightly lessen the experience due to room size and puzzle involvement. We can make exceptions for larger groups upon request.

Will I be locked in the room?

We will never lock our guests in a room against their will. While the story line will imply that you are trapped in a room and the goal is to escape, our guests are free to leave the room at any point to take a phone call, go to the restroom or just call it quits. The remaining guests will not be penalized if a guest needs to leave the room. Safety of our guests is paramount. Each experience is closely-monitored in real-time via audio communications and surveillance systems by our “Hotel Manager”. Our Hotel Manager can be reached immediately at any time should you need any assistance.

How long will I be in the room?

You have 60 minutes to escape the room. You should arrive 10-15 minutes early to use the restroom, fill out waivers and go over the rules of the game. Allow 10-15 minutes after your experience to debrief and take photos.

What should I pack?

You should dress comfortably. If you wear reading glasses, bring them. Cell phones in use are prohibited. You can keep your cell phone with you (on silent or vibrate) but you must leave the room if you need to use your phone for any reason. Photos are strictly prohibited. Pens, pencils, flashlights, vape pens and lighters are prohibited. If any of the prohibited items are observed, the entire group will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

HOTEL POLICIES FAQ:

Can I still check in if I’m late?

Reservations must be on time. While we will always do our best to accommodate our guests, late arrivals will not be admitted after 5 minutes past appointment time to ensure the quality of the experience for other guests. Please make sure to factor in travel time, traffic, and weather. NO REFUNDS will be issued due to late arrival.

Can I reschedule my reservation?

You may reschedule the reservation at least 24 hours prior to your reserved time slot. Please email us at info@303escape.com. We WILL NOT be able to reschedule your reservation for any reason after the 24 hour window.

Can I cancel my reservation?

We have a strict NO CANCELLATION/NO REFUND policy. All sales are final and non-refundable regardless of whether you show up for your reservation or the reasoning for you not being able to make it. Please be aware of this before booking your reservation with us.

What if we had a few too many at the bar before checking in?

For your safety, we kindly ask that you do not show up intoxicated or under the influence for your experience. This is for your own personal safety as well as for other guests and our staff. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE A GUEST if they cannot control themselves, present a danger to themselves or others, appear as if they may get sick, are rude or threatening to staff, or are being aggressive with the set and props. Please save the celebration for after your game! After all you will need all your wits and brainpower to escape the hotel!

Guests that maliciously damage anything at our facility will be charged for repair/replacement.
